Charging From a Powerpoint Is Not a Long-Term Plan
A standard outlet will trickle charge a car, but it takes most of a weekend to do what a proper wall charger does overnight. It also means a lead running across a driveway or through a garage door.
The part that catches people out is the switchboard. An EV charger draws steadily for hours, which is a completely different load to a kettle cycling on and off, and plenty of older boards in the eastern suburbs have neither the spare capacity nor the protection for it.

A straightforward install is usually a day. A long cable run to a detached garage, or a switchboard that needs work first, will take longer. We tell you what to expect before booking.
We check before quoting. Many older boards need upgrading first because an EV charger runs at a steady load for hours. If yours does, it goes in the same quote.
Wherever the cable reaches the car's port comfortably without crossing a walkway. We work that out with you on site, because the charge port position differs between makes.
You can trickle charge from one, but it is slow and it usually means a lead across the driveway. A dedicated charger on its own circuit is faster and safer for daily use.
