You Do Not Know What Is Behind the Walls
Electrical is the one part of a house you cannot inspect by looking at it. The switchboard tells you something, but the cabling, the joins and the accessories are all hidden.
That matters most at three points: buying a place, renting one out, or realising nobody has looked at the wiring in decades.
Older homes around the eastern suburbs often carry a mix of eras. Original cabling, an extension done in the eighties, a shed circuit someone added, and a board that has been added to rather than replaced.
Any of that can be perfectly fine. The point of an inspection is knowing rather than assuming.

A Straight Answer on Your Wiring
We inspect and test the accessible electrical installation: the switchboard and its protection, accessible wiring and connections, outlets, switches and fittings, and earthing.
Then we tell you what we found in plain terms, separated into what needs attention now, what should be planned, and what is simply old but sound.
That last distinction matters. Old does not automatically mean unsafe, and we are not going to talk you into a rewire you do not need.
If work is needed, we can quote it. You are under no obligation to have us do it.

We highly recommend MillerCo. Sam initially made himself available on short notice to conduct an emergency electrical inspection for a home we were purchasing after my desperate plea on Facebook. He is friendly, professional and knowledgeable and his quickly-booked inspection helped us identify issues ahead of the sale. We've since used MillerCo to remedy the old, faulty wiring, replace panels, completely rewire and relight our shed, install a vehicle charging station, lay new electrical lines throughout our property, as well as other everyday wiring jobs such as lights, speakers and split systems. Sam and his team are pleasant, thorough, reliable and excellent to work with. As we are yet to extend and renovate the house, we are looking forward to working with MillerCo on even more exciting projects and feel confident in their ability to deliver services to a high standard.

Sam has been doing electrical work for myself and my family for several years now. Extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He is punctual and his work is priced very reasonably. A wonderful nature to him and always explains what he’s doing before completing the job. Highly recommend MillerCo!!

Safety Inspection Questions
The accessible electrical installation: the switchboard and its protection, accessible wiring and connections, outlets, switches, fittings and earthing. Anything concealed behind finished surfaces cannot be inspected without opening it up.
Most commonly before buying, before renting a property out, after inheriting a place, or when the wiring simply has not been looked at in a very long time.
Only if you do. Old wiring is not automatically unsafe. We separate what needs attention now from what is simply aged but sound, and we say so.
No. We will quote anything that needs doing, and you are free to take that quote elsewhere.
Yes, and we also do test and tag for equipment, which businesses often want at the same time.
